Chess isn’t the hard part.

What’s missing is a clear path.

Too many scattered resources

Apps, videos, and books help — but they don’t always connect into one step-by-step path toward a real game.

No finish line

Without a clear goal and timeline, it’s harder to stay consistent long enough for the game to click.

From first move to a real game

in 30 days

You always know what today’s lesson is

Each step is already decided, so you’re not figuring it out as you go.

The pieces start to make sense

Instead of random moves, your child sees how everything connects.

You reach a real game together

By the end, you sit down eoth and play a complete game from start to finish.

Meet Your Instructor

Meet Your Instructor

My name is Katerina Nemcova and I’ve been living and breathing chess for as long as I can remember.

But I didn’t start in a professional academy or under a famous coach.

I started at home.

My mom showed me how each piece moves when I was four. After I understood the pieces, my dad continued teaching me the rest of the game in our living room. Everything I needed to start playing tournaments came from what my parents taught me.

Later, I joined a chess club and began working with coaches who helped me grow further. That early foundation eventually led to national championships, the title of Woman Grandmaster as a teenager, and representing the United States in international competition.

But here’s the most important thing I learned along the way:

You don’t need to be a chess expert to give your child a powerful start.

You don’t need to know advanced theory.

You don’t need tournament experience.

You don’t need to “do it perfectly.”

Once you understand the structure of the game — and follow a clear, step-by-step path — you can confidently guide your child toward playing real games.

That realization is exactly why I created the 30-Day Chess Player.

Not to turn your child into a grandmaster in a month.

But to give you clarity.

To give you structure.

To give you the confidence to sit down at the board and know what you’re doing.

You may not care about my titles or tournaments. What matters is this: Can this actually help you guide your child? Yes.

I’ve taught this structure to over 200 beginners at summer chess camps, and I’ve seen firsthand how quickly children progress when the path is clear.

Chess becomes connection.
It becomes confidence.
It becomes something you build together.

And I’d be honored to guide you through that process.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have access to the program & when does it start?

How does lifetime access sound?

After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this program for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own. Inside the program there are 30-days of skill developing content + exercises.

What skill level is this program for?

Complete beginners.

No chess knowledge is required from you or your child.

What child age is this program for?

Best suited for children in the early primary years, especially around ages 6–8.

Younger beginners can absolutely follow along with a parent, though they may move through the material more slowly. Older beginners often move through it more quickly.

What matters most is that your child can sit at the board, follow simple steps, and enjoy short games with you.

Can't I learn all of this on Youtube?

YouTube has plenty of helpful chess videos, and many families start there. The challenge isn’t finding lessons — it’s knowing what to teach first and how it all connects. Most free resources teach rules or tips, but not a clear step-by-step path for a parent and child to follow together or how to think in chess as you play.

This program gives you that structure. Each step builds understanding of both the rules and the ideas behind them, so the game starts to make sense. By the end, you’re not just learning chess content. You’re sitting down and playing a real game — together.

Should I invest in 30 Day Chess Player before learning how to play chess?

That depends on you.

Which feels more valuable right now:

1. Spending hours searching YouTube and different resources — trying to learn chess yourself and figure out how to teach it — hoping it all eventually comes together into a real game?

2. Following one clear path so you and your child know exactly what to do each day until the game starts to make sense.

Most families already have access to plenty of chess content. What they don’t have is a simple progression designed for a parent and child to follow together from the first move onward.

This program gives you that structure — so instead of searching for the next lesson, you can focus on learning and playing with clarity.

For families who want that kind of path, the full program is a one-time $97.

In the end, the choice is yours.
